Invigorate Recruitment are working with a young and vibrant marketing company with Offices in Harrogate who are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Consultant to expanding their existing sales team within Harrogate.

Our client works with a number of SME to Blue-Chip organisations throughout the UK.

The main purpose of the Business Development Consultant is to provide telephone account management and sales to a bespoke customer marketplace.

Support the Lead Management and Lead Generation activity for one of the world’s most recognised brands

The ideal candidate will have excellent outbound business sales experience, as well as the ability to develop existing customer relationships, and promote our clients brand via several sales channels to prospective customers.

As a Business Development Consultant, you will demonstrate excellent knowledge of the product and brand; and will identify new customers to promote further sales.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

·Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via telephone

·Provide accurate, knowledgeable responses to customers, and providing account managers with sales opportunities

·Establish potential customers by prospecting for new business

·Confidence and skills to up sell and cross sell

·To regularly provide management with appropriate information, analysis and any other input relating to operations involving the above territories

The ideal candidate will have:

·Determination and be Confident in engaging with businesses

·Proven business development experience in customer service/telesales

·Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office

·Excellent communication skills

·Excellent presentation skills

·Ability to work under pressure and meet targets

·Can do attitude

·Creative thinker and persuasive

·The ability to flourish in a competitive environment

·Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection

As well as a salary of up to £22k pa you will also receive:
